Beard Model E in excellent plus condition. Was upgrade to Sapele mahogany when built for Matt Leadbetter in early 2017. Beautiful instrument which sounds just as amazing. Only minor playing wear. This is just to nice an instrument for a beginner like me. I have found a Martin guitar that I have always dreamed of. Otherwise I wouldn't have it up for sale. For sale - bundle of 2 Rocky Mountain Slides ceramic/clay tone bars. First one is the Rail Rock-it in Hellhound Red, standard 3" length. Second one is the Poncha Bullet Tone Bar in Bayou Blue, 3.25" length. Condition excellent/near mint on both.

Tone bars are hand crafted in Poncha Springs, CO. Made from solid blocks of Stoneware clay. These are good to expand your pallet of tonal possibilities. In my experience these give a slightly "glassier" tone while still maintaining a bit more sustain than a bottleneck or glass bar. This is good when you don't want the weight and heavy sustain of metal bars, or if you desire a slightly quicker decay. They are lighter than solid metal bars, and designed with player ergonomics in mind.
These work well for both acoustic (Dobro, weissenborn, acoustic steel), or electric lap steel.
